I’m a beauty blogger turned tight curl + natural hair specialist who’s spent my entire career helping tight curl + naturals like you learn everything we were never taught about our hair. Whether we’re working together in the salon or you’re learning online, my goal is to simplify natural hair care and help you feel confident styling your curls between visits.

I work out of the Black Girl Curls Studio, located in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

I work with children ages 10 and up. A parent or guardian is required to stay during the appointment to ensure that all decisions align with your expectations and support your child’s hair care journey.

I do not work on Saturdays but I’m available on Sunday’s to work with clients in the salon.

hicago has two airports—Midway and O’Hare—and the studio is about equal distance from both. We recommend checking your favorite map app to see which airport offers the best route for your trip.

When it comes to natural hair, the best way for me to consult is hands-on—right at the shampoo bowl. That’s why I offer a Wash & Go appointment for new clients. If you’re curious about what your hair can really do, I’d love for you to book this service and experience it for yourself.

I am available to partner with 3 days a week. My books are open up to sixty days out.
